The award winning Irish Woolfest featuring “The Running of the Sheep” is the flagship event for Boorowa, which takes place on Sunday 5th October 2008. It is estimated the festival attracts well over 10,000 visitors from Canberra, Sydney and outside the region each year with the numbers growing annually.
